LarryBoy Costume for kids
For the last several years children who watch the popular TV and dvd videos of the Veggie Tales have all come to know and love the cucumbered superhero with plungers on his ears- LARRYBOY!
In fact, just a few years ago my little boy was a Veggie Tales fanatic, and he wea a huge Larry Boy fan.When Halloween came around that year, he let us know that he wanted to be Larry boy.Thus my wife and I set out on a quest to find Larryboy costumes for kids.Much to our surprise, the popular kids superhero did did not have his own official costume line like other uber popular cartoon superheros like Wonder Woman and Batman.
In our research we did discover several articles of people who had made them, and while some were pretty cool, we thought we could make our own for our son even better.My wife drug out the sewing machine, and we went and purchased some purple, yellow, black, and white felt to use for the costume.After a little experimentation we were able to come up with a costume of Larryboy that mirrored the real Larry boy.Origonally our plunger headed helmet was home made too, however we soon upgraded to an official plush Larryboy hat made by Big Ideas.
After our son displayed his cool Larryboy Costume for trick or Treat and then proceeded to use it for play time we had sveral requests from parents we know to make one for their child too. Thus our first business was born. We soon constructed a very basic website, called larryboy costume .com and began selling them on ebay and over the internet. While this little website has in no way become our golden egg, it has given us an opportunity to earn a little income and supply Larryboy costumes to dozens of little boys and girls too.
If you know of a parent or child who is looking for a more wholesome and quality character for their child to dress up as this year for Halloween then I certainly recommend Larry Boy! This year this is also a new Larryboy Costume out made by someone else that might be more your kids speed and liking, either way it is a unique and cool idea that not many other kids will be dressing up as this year.
