Reading Pillow for Bed
I’m really pleased that you are on my website. I didn’t know the name of the pillow I was looking for when I first started doing research.The most that had crossed my mind in knowing what I wanted was to be able to be sitting up in my bed, being comfortable doing that and be able to watch television.Ok, every article you read says that you there are only a couple of things to do while in bed, one of them is to go to sleep.The others will be left alone at this time.Because I don’t need the 2nd option, I use it for reading and watching TV while being in bed and like it. So I wanted a big, comfy, soft, back rest pillow that wasn’t beyond my means, but was just a good sturdy pillow with a place to rest my arms for my lollygagging in bed on Sunday mornings reading or watching TV at night.
What I found were a lot of different pillows that fit my criteria.The names of them were different, one was wedge of foam pillow. This is a piece of foam that is in the shape of a wedge and sits behind you. They come in 6 bed wedge and 8 wedge pillow sizes. You can use it while sitting up in bed.GERD or acid reflux is the reason that most purchase this pillow. This pillow is called a bed wedge reflux and is great for helping with your acid reflux and can be prescribed by your doctor if needed. But it doesn’t have any armrests or a place to hold a magazine. It’s just a big piece of memory foam large bed wedge shaped like a triangle.
The following pillow I found is called the boomerang pillow. It looks just like a boomerang and you can hug the pillow for comfort, rest on the pillow for back support or cradle the pillow for neck support. This sounded great, but it still wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. So I still kept on looking.
The third pillow I looked at was a reading pillow for bed.This one was made much cheaper than the other and it most likely would not be around very long. And to top it off, it was pretty expensive!I moved on from that one briskly.Also, before I forget, it says to clean it carefully. So that meant that it was not washable!
The fourth pillow that I finally found was the perfect pillow you can use to sit up in bed. Well, actually it’s not really JUST a pillow. It has flexible arms, a pocket on the arms for your TV remote or eyeglasses and a washable cover. It comes in four different colors, but I got the cream cover.I purchased another bed-cover too, but have not had to use it as of now. It was exactly what I was looking for and then some.The head rest can be moved in either direction and you can adjust it. The Bed Lounge, that’s the name of it, is portable and foldable.The pillow goes back, also!What is not to love about this, I really cannot remember a time not using it. And, it was for a little less than the above pillow I mentioned that was more expensive and not even half as nice. I know you will agree with me that it truly is the best thing you’ve bought for a while.
