Visions of the Perfect Gift
A picture tells a thousand words. So the old saying goes and I suppose that’s true as trying to describe what an image shows would require, well probably more than a thousand words, as well as a coordinate system and a reference grid of some sort. Anyhow, a picture is probably worth a billion words when only you can see – like in pitch darkness – for then, verily, you will be as the one-eyed man in the kingdom of the blind.

As gadgets go, night vision is just uber cool for blokes who dream of nothing else but the thrill of night manoeuvres in the back garden. Sure they’ll give you all the acceptable reasons for wanting those gifts for men, including spotting badgers and owls or great fun for the children, but really they just want to see anything up to 15 metres ahead of them in absolute darkness. Night vision goggles look pretty darn cool too, but that observation only holds true if someone else has also got a pair.
